Vocational Training in Family Business
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The quality of a family business is built on the complexity of the family and its business practices, as well as on an appropriate asset management structure for the effective management of this complexity. The aim of this research is to evaluate the approach to education in a conventional family business with family businesses that were assessed as well-managed. The results of the research on the quality of management processes and their professional training showed that family businesses have room for improvement in the area of professional training. The authors concluded that although the topics of assessing the quality of processes and professional training in family businesses have been separately addressed by international authors, no research has been found that would focus solely on the complexity of this issue. The novelty of this study lies in the research it conducts on those family businesses whose processes were assessed as „excellent” within the framework of the National Award for the Quality of Family Businesses in the Czech Republic and where room for improvement in training needs was identified, especially in the area of family management, as well as in the legal and tax aspects of succession.
