Verifying a new model for geometry of plain weave fabric

A new concept about internal geometry of plain weave fabric had been putted in forward in previous work. The new model is able to predict whole internal geometry of a plain weave fabric by using some basic data of fabric. This model is on the base of oneprincipal assumption according to apriory geometry. It is supposed that minimum change in yarns packing density is occured during weaving process. This paper is an attempt to compare results of this model with an exhaustive empirical work. Fabric undercondiseration are made by the same yarns count in warp and weft. Dimension of yarns in cross section, inflection angle and relative wave height of yarns are measured in both warp and weft direction. Two assumptions, equality in packing density or know major diameter are applied. Then one linear relationship between packing density of original yarn and packing density of yarns inside of fabric is considered and by trial and error method the best coefficient for this relationship is founde
