The Static And Dynamic Sewing Seams Strength And Creating a Numerical Model of a Real Seam
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
In this research, the average load of seam strength was calculated by using the Instron Testing Machine for static test and instrument made for measurement of dynamic strain. During the experimentation, the difference between statical and dynamical strength of sewing seam in car seat covers was examined. There were four different sizes of spun polyester and polyamide threads, which were sewn on one material through lockstitch. The results obtained by using different methods of measurement (static and dynamic test) show variation in strength of sewing seam. Predominantly the dynamic strength is greater than static strength for the same material, it is because with greater breaking speed disappears slip of material and increase in tensile modulus of elasticity. Design CAD model with the sewing seam was imported to software Ansys 14.0 Workbench, where the model has been subjected to a simulation of static pull test. In the result we can see the real cause of breaking seam. Discontinuity o
