Dynamic Heat Flux Measurement for Advanced Insulation Materials
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
To determine the thermal characteristics (thermal conductivity, resistance, convection and clo value), standing thermal manikin and a newly designed instrument in a climatic chamber was used for comprehensive evaluation of the fabrics. A multi-segment thermal manikin with the thermal comfort regulation mode was used and a new instrument was used to measure the forced convection through aerogel treated nonwoven fabric and needle punched struto nonwoven fabric samples. Clothing insulation was measured onthermal manikins consisting of multiple, independently heated and regulated segments. The power supply to each segment (Qi) and the temperatures of each segment (Ti) were measured in order to calculate the segmental value of clothing insulation (Ii). Total clothing insulation (It) was then calculated from the segmental values. In the newly designed instrument the temperatures between the hotplate & fabric and on the surface of the fabric was measured. The climatic chamber?s temperature w
