Moisture management property has a vital role in any kind of fabric used for inner layer or outer layer of garment. Moisture transportation from the skin to environment through textile material decides the comfort level of that fabric. Every human body sweats during different kinds of activities like walking, running or during exercise. But the main feature is that how efficiently a textile material transports liquid moisture out of the body to environment in order to make the wearer feel comfortable. This review paper reports the concept of moisture management, moisture management of different fibers, moisture management improvement in case of using different fiber blend, moisture management of spun and filament yarns and moisture management of different knitted fabric structures.
