The chapter analyses preliminary qualitative research on the role of religious socialisation in the formation of religious identity in post-communist society. The text is devoted to the results of qualitative ethnological dissemination, which focused on the role of memory and so-called (non-)religious socialization in the process of formation of individual attitudes towards religion. The study focuses primarily on the Czech context and the role played by political and historical changes in the second half of the 20th century.
