This report describes the static strength analysis of SV-300 gearbox manufactured by Wikov Gear. The computations were done using FEM software tool ANSYS Mechanical v19.0. The purpose of the report is (i) to provide a description of the analysis such that the reader can repeat the analysis with any FEM tool similar to ANSYS Mechanical and (ii) to give the information on the behavior of the structure when subjected to the expected static loading. The structure of the report follows the steps of the analysis – starting with the task definition followed by description of the FEM model, solution process and, finally, presenting the calculation results.
