A number of economic entities exist in the current condition of the market economy. The business sector, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, has large importance on the unemployment, GDP etc. The European Union (EU) emphasizes on supports of business entities in various forms. The EU promotes companies in the area of education, foreknowledge, development and in others. The good competitive environment is very important for the regions of EU. This paper is devoted to the analysis of business environment of the Czech Republic (CR). The PESTLE analysis was used for measuring of the competitiveness in CR.
