We compared the breeding value (BV) of the offsprings borne after embryo transfer, the BV their siblings and peers. Further was obtained data relevant to weighting - there were used average value at born, 120 , 210, and 365 days. We monitored offspringsof Piemntese breed borne after ET, which was provided in 1996-2001. Data was collected from 345 calfs, from that was 158 calf borne after ET, 89 was their siblings and 98 peers (calf borne at the same season at pursued farm). Monitored maternal effect has duplex importace in comparison with proper growth potential ? higher values of BV were ascertain by offspring borne after ET (maternal effect pp 103,03) and their peers (maternal effect for growth 102,28). While we will compare the particular values, the highest weihgt at born and at 365 days, was detected by offspring borne after ET (38,23 and 371,86 kg), by group of siblings were higher values at days 120 and 210 (147,70 and 232,27kg).
