We focused on the evaluation of problems in cow reproduction. Two herds in different agricultural companies were observed during the years 2006 and 2007. The first herd (herd 1) of 150 Holstein cows with an average milk production of 7823 kg was chainedup in a stable. The second herd (herd 2), counting 300 Czech spotted cattle cows with 6527 kg of average milk production was housed loosely in a newly rebuilt stable. One veterinarian had been taking care of these two herds. Data from insemination card and treatment day-book were gathered together and evaluated.
