Advanced passive safety research focused on rail vehicles interiors
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Passive safety has become a new feature of the rail vehicle design. This paper focuses on the passive safety of the railway vehicle interiors. The paper presents techniques for the passive safety assessment of the real interiors. The virtual models of arailway vehicle and tram interiors were created for this purpose. The data of the vehicle constructions were obtained from the local developers. The vehicles considered have recently been developed and used for operations now. The safety assessment was carried out using the finite element method and multibody simulations. The simulations were performed using the software environment PAMCRASH. The combination of rigid and deformable parts were used for the modeling of the virtual interiors. The most significant features of the interior were the seats.
