Power transformers are inconsiderable group of the electrical appliances with two components insulation system. One of the components - liquid insulating medium plays two roles- insulating and cooling. It can be mineral as well as synthetic based liquid.Second component is an organic based solid insulation usually of cellulose character. It is possible to follow two approaches for the materials evaluation. One of the ways is direct observation of the structure changes; structural approach. Second is response observation of the deteriorated materials. This is provided due to the electrical parameters measurement. Insulation materials are subjected to fastened aging process. In this case the fastened aging is provided by increasing the temperature to 90°C for the times 50 to 3000 hours. Measured were time dependencies of the dissipation factor, polarization index, permittivity and insulation resistance.
