The authors try to objectively evaluate the opinions of opponents of linguistics because of its "methodological primitiveness", which supposedly includes mainly 1) the epigonism of the said discipline, 2) insufficient share of its linguistic methodology and 3) promotion of language and national ideas. Criticism of linguistics has not always been found to have a sufficient and objective scientific basis, which can be described as dubious and contradictory from a methodological point of view.
