Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The chapter focuses on the issue of corruption in the communication of the Czech president Miloš Zeman, who is often called a populist. His communication is investigated in comparison to the communication of previous Czech presidents. The results show that (1) the occurrence of populist statements in Zeman’s communication is higher than in the case of the other presidents, but the populist statements are not dominant; (2) contrary to former presidents, corruption represents a far more important topic for Zeman; (3) Zeman is the president using the theme of corruption as a tool in the political struggle.
