The article deals with basic principles of the natural dialogue with a car navigation system, design of the specialized dialogue system, its decomposition in basic functional blocks and the choice and design of main functions of the developed speech interface. Furthermore it describes the uilization of exsting hardware and software for the development of such system, alternatives of the implementation of the dialogue system in problem-oriented programming languages and the implementation of the developed system in the VoiceXML language.
