This software was developed under the project KJB10470701 of the GA AV of the Czech Republic. It compresses a group of similar images (BMP, PNG) into an archive (BSPNG) exploiting automatically the similarity among the images. Decompression is, indeed, also supported. A great advantage is that since the compression is losless, the software can be used for compressing medical images, which are often distributed in set of BMP, TIF, PNG or RAW images (to process TIF or RAW images, please, use some software, e.g., FastStone Viewer or IrfanView, to convert them into PNG or BMP formats first).
