L'article traite des principes fondamentaux liés a l'analyse contrastive des langues. Pour nous, la linguistique contrastive n'est pas une théorie indépendante, mais une méthodologie, dont les principes sont strictement délimités par le cadre théorique général. Nous montrons les spécificités de l'analyse contrastive par rapport aux différents paradigmes linguistiques, le paradigme génératif et le paradigme structuraliste en particulier. La relation entre la linguistique contrastive et la traductologie est également esquissée.

This paper deals with the main principals of contrastive analysis of languages. For us, contrastive linguistics is not an independent theory but a methodology whose principals are strictly determined by the general linguistic theoretical framework. We show the specificities of the contrastive analysis in relation to two different linguistic paradigms, generative and structural one. The relation between contrastive linguistics and translatology is also briefly outlined.
