Obwohl Phraseologie eine relativ junge sprachwissenschaftliche Disziplin ist, weist sie von Anfang an viele Facetten auf, die durch ihre Erforschung herangebracht werden und aus allerlei Perspektiven aufgefasst werden. Phraseme sind als kulturelle Schatzstücke des Spracherbes zu verstehen, deswegen sollte ihnen entsprechende Aufmerksamkeit gewidmet werden. Der Beitrag nimmt sich zum Ziel, die fremdsprachliche Wirkung auf ausgewählte deutsche Phraseologismen zu erkunden, und dadurch auf Transkulturalität der Sprache im Rahmen ihrer in dieser Hinsicht festen Verankerung hinzuweisen. Dabei werden Ergebnisse einer zu diesem Thema erstellten Studie präsentiert. Da die Idiomatik sich beim Fremdsprachenerwerb als eine harte Nuss erweist, ist es um so wichiger, diese auf allen Sprachniveaus im Fremdsprachenunterricht einzusetzen und sie gleichzeitig den Lernenden schmackhaft zu machen. Eine nicht unbedingt einfache Aufgabe, die viel Engagement und regelmäßige Anteilnahme seitens der Lehrenden anfordert. Was in diesem Kontext methodisch-didaktisch zu beachten wäre, und welche fremdsprachendidaktische Maßnahmen und Werkzeuge heutzutage zugänglich und geeignet sein können, wird zugleich thematisiert.

Although phraseology is a relatively young linguistic discipline, it has had many facets from the very beginning, which are brought to light through its study and approached from all kinds of perspectives. Phrasemes are to be understood as cultural treasures of the linguistic heritage, therefore appropriate attention should be paid to them. This article aims to explore the foreign language effect on selected German phraseologisms, thereby pointing to the transculturality of the language in the context of its firm anchoring in this respect. Results of a study conducted on this topic will be presented. Since idiomaticity proves to be a hard nut to crack in foreign language learning, it is all the more important to use it at all language levels in foreign language teaching and at the same time to make it palatable to learners. This is not necessarily an easy task that requires a lot of commitment and regular involvement on the part of the teachers. At the same time, we will discuss the methodological-didactic aspects that need to be taken into account in this context and the foreign language didactic measures and tools that are accessible and suitable today.
