The Energy Resource for Dairy Cow Feed Rations from Silage of Different Maize Hybrids
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The energy resource for dairy cow feed rations from silage of different maize hybrids was studied in four experimental field trials (one at west Bohemia, two at South Bohemia and one at Bydgoszcz, Poland). Results of nutrients are summarised for FAO number of different hybrids. AMOPHOS was used as an additional nitrogen fertiliser at 150 kg per ha for half of the experimental field in the Czech experimental basis. During silage preparation, 8 pooled samples of each maize hybrids were sprayed with LACTISIL and ensiled in jute bags into silo bunkers. Near them, the other part of samples was ensiled without biological preparation. Nutrient analysis showed differences at the experimental fields due to addition of nitrogenous fertililzer. Through vegetation, plants grew higher but their maturity was later. There were no statistically relevant differences in the ensiling properties. Differences between years showed a decrease of dry matter content at the hybrids with low FAO numbers. Results
