El objetivo de este trabajo es estudiar el concepto de primae intentiones según el tomista bretón Erveo de Nédellec (1250-1323), mediante el análisis de su Tractatus de secundis intentionibus. En ese texto, el bretón hereda la teoría del conocimiento de Tomás de Aquino para reelaborarlo a la luz del concepto de intentio, haciendo del Tractatus la primera obra en la que se expone de forma unitaria la teoría de la intencionalidad. La contribución examinará la primera parte de esa teoría, en la que Erveo teoriza las primae intentiones como el medio a través del cual se conoce un objeto del mundo y conocido y ‘pasa’ al intelecto de un sujeto conocedor, para analizar su originalidad.

The goal of this work is to study the concept of primae intentiones according to the Breton Thomist Erveo de Nédellec (1250-1323), through the analysis of his Tractatus de secundis intentionibus. In that text, the Breton inherits the theory of knowledge of Thomas Aquinas to rework it in the lightof the concept of intentio, making the Tractatus the first work in which it is exposed in an unitary theory of intentionality. The contribution will examine the first part of that theory, in which Erveus theorizes primae intentiones as the means through which an object of the world and known and 'passes' to the intellect of a knowledgeable subject, to analyze its originality.
