Habilidades duras y blandas en el contexto de los límites en la relación trabajador social-cliente

En esta comunicación se presenta el resultado parcial de la investigación que tiene por objeto explorar la cuestión del mantenimiento de los límites profesionales entre el trabajador social y su cliente en los servicios ociales. Se analizan los límites profesionales en relación con las competencias duras y las habilidades blandas del trabajador social. En la primera parte, se realiza un análisis de los conceptos teóricos relacionados con las habilidades duras y blandas del trabajador social, el vínculo entre el trabajador social y el cliente. En la sekunda parte, se presentan los resultados parciales de una investigación cualitativa centrada en aspectos del vínculo entre el trabajador social y el cliente. En ambos casos, sólo se seleccionaron trabajadores sociales que trabajaban con personas sin hogar y personas mayores. La muestra de la investigación son 3 trabajadores sociales que trabajan en centros de acogida y residencias de mayores.

This paper presents partial results of research aimed at exploring the issue of maintaining professional boundaries between social workers and their clients in social services. Professional boundaries are analysed in relation to the hard and soft skills of the social worker. In the first part, the theoretical concepts related to the hard and soft skills of the social worker are analyzed. The hard and soft skills of the social worker, the link between the social worker and the client. In the second part, partial results of qualitative research focusing on aspects of the social worker-client relationship are presented.In both cases, only social workers working with homeless and homebound people and the elderly were selected. The research sample consists of 3 social workers working in shelters and homes for the elderly.
