From the perspective of the hierarchy of economic policy aims, all the tools and measures are used in order to increase the quality of life of inhabitants. The determination of the quality of life itself is not unambiguous and especially unchangeable intime. The influence of the space in this determination is also not fully inconsiderable. Particular factors, influencing the quality of life, have a heterogeneous nature in the context of economic, social, demographic, ecologic and other aspects. Alle these aspects cannot be in the contradiction with the sustainability of living conditions of present and future generations. The aim of the paper is to assess a possibility and a value of the quality of life indicator on the various hierarchy levels, in this case on the level of former NUTS4, at present LAU1.
