This article focuses on the impact of the Integrated Public Transport System (IPTS) on tourism. The first part deals with the basic principles of Integrated Public Transport System. Furthermore, the article is devoted to the advantages and disadvantages of the IPTS and it also shows the relationship between transportation and tourism. Last but not least, the article deals with the role of public transport in tourism. At the end of the article, the possibilities of practical research are presented. The aim is to examine the current state of knowledge in the field of IPTS. Based on the definition of the relationship between transport and tourism determine the relationship between IPTS and tourism, or the impact of IPTS on the development of tourism services.
