This article examines the nature of scholarly discourse in highly polarized interdisciplinary contexts, focusing on how conceptual misalignment and rhetorical framing can influence academic debates. It explores the challenges that arise when ideas and metaphors are transferred across disciplinary boundaries, particularly in cases where scientific concepts intersect with socially and politically sensitive issues. The article examines how selective interpretation, decontextualization, and normative assumptions can contribute to misunderstandings and conflicts among scholars from different fields. Emphasis is placed on the importance of epistemic clarity, reflexivity, and respectful engagement to support constructive dialogue. By discussing the broader implications of interdisciplinary research, the article highlights the conditions under which scholarly communication can either exacerbate polarization or foster more productive and ethically grounded exchanges.
