Chip thickness effects on the surface of finished wood material
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Evaluation of the surface quality of wood-based workpieces using computer systems gives new possibilities to measure the structure of their surface. The analysis of problems of the origin of shape and the surface roughness during milling is aimed at possibilities of computer methods suitable for their evaluation. A topographical method is analysed with emphasis on possibilities to assess the surface structure and profile, waviness and roughness of the surface under evaluation. Results of the analysis consist in the elaboration of experiment methodology in the field of evaluating the quality of milled surfaces aimed at the description of changes in the surface quality parameters depending on changes in the rate of feed per tooth and chip thickness. Results of the study were presented and contributions of the topographic method were evaluated. Thus, the method brings possibilities of the most exact description of the surface quality of wood products yet.
