This contribution deals with the qualitative and quantitative comparison of the entrance draft tests and the entrance tests of mathematics for applicants for the bachelor and master study on the Faculty of Military Technology of the University of Defence in Brno. These tests are organized by the Department of Mathematics and Physics since 2010. The paper focuses on the results and the rates attained of about 300 aspirants for the study and as well the future students obtained at the entrance examinations and simultaneously at the preceding voluntary draft tests in the period of the last six years from 2010 to 2015. The results achieved of the applicants from the military secondary school and civilian secondary schools are compared and evaluated from the qualitative and quantitative point of view.
