Investigation of Mechanical Properties Achieved by Additive Manufacturing
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The development of additive manufacturing in the past decade greatly increased the applicability of such methods for manufacturing components, which would be otherwise expensive or impossible to manufacture by more conventional methods. Additive manufacturing is being slowly introduced even into the aviation industry, which requires rigorous testing of each component. The variety of production parameters, process defects and often complex design require even more component-specific testing. The paper presents a selected aircraft component, which has been manufactured and tested for bending strength under varying conditions. The results of the test were then compared to the FEM analysis of the selected component.
