Effect of tree location accuracy on vegetation passability analysis
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Vegetation on the earth's surface affects not only the use of military equipment, but also the process of planning, command and control of operations. Unmanned ground vehicles (UGV) intervene in operations more and more often. For the need of machine learning algorithms, it is necessary to have models allowing the UGVs learn to pass the forest areas. Data for these models can be collected by surveying or by remote sensing methods. Remote sensing is obviously more efficient in this case. Evaluating the accuracy of determining the position of tree trunks taken by the manual photogrammetric method and its influence on passability analysis is the main goal of this paper. The analysis was performed in six locations for the following vehicles: a wheeled vehicle (Squad Mission Support System Unmanned ground vehicle - SMSS) and a tracked vehicle (THeMIS).
