The article's main goal is to inform about the subject 'Information Technology in the Armed Forces', designated for first-year military students focusing on, and passing education experience, especially in the cybersecurity and information systems block. The structure of the entire course is presented and the topics of the first block of teaching, which has been comprehensively innovated, are explained in detail. A review of relevant literature confirms the importance of the subject. The department's research results are applied in teaching. The student results in the seminar are analyzed in detail and from the final questioners are obtained lessons learned for the future development of the subject.
