The paper named ?BLIS ? the multimedia centre for language education? is focused on a modern multimedia library supporting languages and business studies, operating at the University of Plymouth in Great Britain. BLIS offers students standard library services extended by the possibility of watching television in four world languages (English, French, German, Spanish), borrowing or present watching business themed DVDs etc. The purpose of this paper is to find out if students use this facility and how they perceive its contribution to their study.
