This contribution is engaged in the study of the effect of fattening pig technology on the status of digestive tract mucous membrane. Immediately after slaughter samples of tissues from stomach (fundus, body and pylorus) were taken and microscopically the status of epithelium was evaluated. Experiment on piglings - comparing the state of stomach mucous membranes of piglings by using dry and moisturised mixtures. 13 piglings postweaning were divided into 2 groups, form that 4 piglings were fed on dry mixture and 9 piglings were fed on the same mixture, but diluted by lukewarm water into a porridge consistence.The piglings were bred in common sty's and fed by the help of feeders on mixture and into troughs on moisturised porridge mixture. Feeding on porridge mixture was adjusted to ad libitum intake. Water was at disposal from autodrinkers. Piglings were fed for 30 days and were then slaughtered.
