Biometrical and breeding analysis of Hafling horses in the Czech Republic

The breed of Hafling horses is in our country dynamical grow up for their modesty, resistence and good character traits. The aim of this work was to map part of the czech population of hafling horse, we have obtained data of 166 mares and 18 stallions (summary population 355 mares and 25 stallions). We made an analysis of representation of all seven stallions lines, distribution of mares into the sections of stud book and an age structure of population. They were engaged in measuring 19 body proportions. Out of gained values we calculated nine indexes of physique. Out of all values of body proportions and indexes of physique were calculated basic statistical characteristics.By using correlation analysis we valued the dependence between the lenght of the head to the end of the turbinate bone and the lenght of the head to upper lip. For determining of degree of body proporcionality (by Dusek).We compiled a net of physique. The calculated degrees of proporcionality were compared by using
