Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Milk thistle is used as a medicine and dietary supplement due to productive and reproductive performance increases and the health status improvement of livestock animals to provide an overview on the present knowledge of the flavonoids of milk thistle, emphasizing effects and possible mechanisms of action in relation to animal function and performance. Observed parameters were: average daily gain, average daily feed consumption, total feed consumption, slaughter live weight, and carcass weight. The best results were showed in experimental group E2 (supplement of 0,5% fermented milk thistle). Significant differences were recorded in average daily feed consumption, total feed consumption, slaughter live weight, and carcass weight. The results show that 0,5% fermented milk thistle extract supplemented in the feed ration for broiler rabbits has a positive effect on fattening performance.
