The event was dedicated to an important milestone — 20 years of cooperation between the Czech Republic and Moldova within development projects led by FTZ CZU. During the event, a summary of the projects’ objectives and outputs was presented. Certificates of appreciation were awarded to long-term Czech project experts. The event took place with the participation of representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Prague, including the Ambassador and the Consul. In total 14 projects were realized by FTZ CZU in Moldova in the sectors of education & agriculture and rural development. Among the earliest CZU projects were the Support to Study Programmes at the SAUM and Harmonization of its Educational System with European Standards (2006–2008, funded by the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports) and the Support for the rural development -increasing the expertise of management and advisory capacities Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic (2006–2009, funded by the Czech Ministry of Agriculture). The main beneficiaries in Moldova/partner organizations were: State Agrarian University of Moldova, Technical University of Moldova, Tiraspol State University, Moldova State University, Ion Creangă State Pedagogical University, National Agency for Rural Development.
