The presented work deals with characterisation of surface finishings of archaeological ceramics from Rudolfine Prague. Fragments of ceramic vessels were found during archaeological research of a historical house in Prague. Utility vessels representing the archaeological finding ? a decorated bowl on a pillar, a vessel for side-heating and a big pot with two handles, were chosen for the characterisation of different surface finishings of ceramics from renaissance time.
