Within the framework of bachelor and semester thesis of the programme &quot;Restoration and conservation of arts and crafts objects of glass and ceramic&quot; at the Department of Glass and Ceramic, University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague (UCT Prague), students restored a total of 15 objects: two urns, three bottles, four beakers, two bowls, one plate, a jug and a bracelet.1 Two very similar modern-age amphoriskois were also restored and analysed as part of a semestral work, and a sample of cameo glass from the Römisch-Germanisches Museum was analysed (see Tab. 1a-c).3 A goblet from Syria (Tab. 1c: A3, LH-08) was restored at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague (MDA).
