Currently LC-MS/MS methods are widely used for analysis of pesticide residues in food matrices. Thanks to developments in sample preparation strategies (e.g. QuEChERS) as well as availability of highly selective tandem mass-spectrometric analyzer have enabled analysis of crude (filtered) extracts. One of the challenging ways to increase effectiveness of residue analysis in terms of its duration is the use of Ultra-Performance Liquid Chromatography (UPLC). The Acquity instrument (Waters) thanks to the capability of its pump to operate at the pressure up to 15.000 (approx. 1034 bar) makes possible to the use of separation column of a "common dimensions" employing very small particles (< 2 #m). In presentation is documented optimized UPLC method for determination of 67 pesticides using of ACQUITY UPLC# system with BEH C18 (100 mm x 2.1 mm, 1.7 #m) column (Waters, USA).
