The dust is a suitable indicator for the assessment of indoor contamination with perfluoroalkylated compounds (PFASs) and brominated flame retardants (BFRs). Due to their unique characteristics, they are used in a variety of consumer and industrial products from which can be released to the environment. The industrial fires as well as the disposal of treated products can be the serious source of environmental contamination with PFASs and BFRs. Since only the small amount of dust sample is sometimes available ({ 1 g) and a different group of mentioned chemicals are determined separately by different methods, the new analytical approach for their simultaneous analysis was developed. For the isolation of analytes from dust was employed matrix solid phasedispersion (MSPD). Using this method two fractions: (i) hexane (23 BFRs) and (ii) methanol (18 PFASs and 4 BFRs) were obtained.
