Rozprawa skupia się na pozateatralnych aspektach działalności polskiego teatru Reduta i czeskich teatrów Vladimíra Gamzy (České studio i Umělecké studio) oraz Emila Františka Buriana (Divadlo D). Autor opisuje działanie teatrów czeskich, przedstawiając ich zasady organizacji (teatr społeczny, teatr jako forma spółdzielcza), a także społeczne aspekty ich działalności (wystawy, wydawanie książek, edukacja odbiorców itp.). Podobieństwa z Reduta, którą można znaleźć zarówno w praktyce (Instytut Reduty) a także w ideologii Juliusza Osterwy (Teatr Społeczny, Dal, Bractwo Św. Genezjusza) autor według definicji Jerzego Szackiego uważa za utopię. Ponadto w pierwszej części tekstu autor analizuje obecność Juliusza Osterwy w czeskim teatrze życie okresu międzywojennego. The feature focuses on the non-theatrical aspects of the activity of the Polish Reduta Theatre and the Czech theatres of Vladimír Gamza (České studio/Czech Studio and Umělecké studio/Artistic Studio) and Emil František Burian (Divadlo D/Theatre D). The author describes how Czech theatres worked, presenting their rules of organisation (a community-theatre, a theatre as a co-operative company), as well as the social aspects of their activity (staging exhibitions, publishing books, educating the audience etc.). The similarities with the Reduta, which can be found both in practice (the Reduta Institute) and in ideology (the Social Theatre, Dal, San Ginés Brotherhood) by Juliusz Osterwa, are considered by the author in the category of utopia, as defined by Jerzy Szacki. In addition, in the first part of the text the author analyses the presence of Juliusz Osterwa in Czech theatre in the interwar period. Polish translation by Gabriela Maria Gańczarczyk.
