A permanent group of judges for listening tests of musical sounds was established, assembled of music professionals (string, wind and keyboard players, composers & conductors and sound designers). An audiometric examination was provided and evaluated, the anamnesis hazard factors were also assessed. The measured hearing threshold was corrected to age according to ISO 7029. Statistical analyses relevated significant hearing loss on frequencies 125, 250 and 1000 Hz in both ears mainly in instrument interpreter subgroups. The hearing deterioration in younger generation of musicians was also confirmed.
