Název v původním jazyce
Magnetic Field Effect on Photochemical Thin Film Formation from a Gaseous Mixture of Trimethyl(2-propynyloxy)silane and Glyoxal
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
A gaseous mixture of trimethyl(2-propynyloxy)silane (TMPSi) and glyoxal (GLY) produced aerosol particles at the initial stage of light irradiation at 435.8 nm and then deposited a thin film as the final product. The film was also produced in the dark bythermal reaction, but the photochemical reaction was similar to8 times faster than the thermal reaction. From the XPS analysis, it was shown that TMPSi was only involved in the film produced photochemically, and the chemical structure of the photochemically produced film was different from the one of thermally produced film. It was strongly suggested that radical polymerization took place in photochemical processes and ionic polymerization, in thermal reaction. Furthermore, the product yield of the filmfrom the gaseous mixture was found to increase by the application of a magnetic field, indicating that the magnetic field influenced the chemical reaction of excited triplet state of GLY molecule.
