Popis výsledku v původním jazyce

Career in Polymers (CiP) is a workshop for young scientists and PhD students at the start of their professional career. Participants had the opportunity to meet with other young scientists, discuss their research, and receive valuable feedback. The meeting covered all aspects of polymer science – chemistry, physics, characterization and applications of polymers (organic, inorganic, hybrid or composite materials) and related topics. The young speakers presented the results of their research in front of a wide audience of junior and senior scientists. Furthermore, the plenary lecture with title “my career in polymers” presented by internationally honoured prof. S.Thang from Monash University was also organized. The CiP was organised by the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry, Czech Academy of Sciences, as a satellite meeting of the Prague Meetings on Macromolecules (PMM).
