The paper deals with the presentation of the development and of existing concept of teacher training studies in the field of natural sciences at the University of Ostrava in 2012. This work aims at comparison of this concept with the results of undergraduate student?s evaluation. In the sections which deal with the structure of the field of study, didactics and practical training are the results enriched with specifics of training teachers of mathematics.
