Transport structures, where the major parts are linear structures, are very problematic in terms of their construction and maintenance. The initial conditions, such as soil type, can change several times along the linear structure. Areas which are undermined or potentially flood-affected bring even more risk factors to consider. They are both very difficult for horizontal and vertical road leading and they also place emphasis on construction of accompanying objects, even if in a different way. Article discusses the possible risks rising from these conditions and preventive measures to minimize their impact.
