Numerical Modeling of a Thin-Walled Profile with respect to the Redistribution of Bending Moments
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The paper deals with the detailed determination of the resistance of a diagonal steel member and its connections, which is the main supporting element of the steel halls system built from thin-walled cross-section profiles. For this type of structure thestability behavior of the structure from the global and local points of view must be emphasized. The paper is focused on solving the common beam model and its design using detailed numerical models, which aim to detect potential savings, but also the critical points in the design solution. The global support system is analyzed in detail with a diagonal frame corner that is considered as a critical point in the structure. The aim of the analysis is to determine the rotational stiffness, which would be applied in a simple beam model. For a detailed analysis the finite element method is used and the commercial software ANSYS. Numerical modeling is based on the model of a selected frame, which is defined for verification as a beam model an
