Addressing the optimization and relationships of residential structures can achieve a reduction of the percentage of demolitions and remediation of industrial sites. The creation of an overview of localities during research of the efficiency of conversions of industrial facilities, buildings and areas based on their viability can provide unique benefits. The starting point of the paper is first to determine the efficiency of the possible use of former industrial remnants in the Czech Republic by developing the possibility of conversion of unused facilities, buildings and areas for the flourishing of industrial heritage. In connection with this issue, measures must be implemented to bolster the possibilities of conversions of buildings, facilities and areas for new purposes, which will be of a life-giving nature. The priority is to create and strengthen quality values - spatial, functional and social structures. The main idea is to properly finance the conversions and remediation of these areas and buildings.
