Monografie pojednává o resilienci kritických subjektů a je koncipována do čtyř stěžejních částí, kterými jsou definování resilience kritických subjektů, posuzování resilience kritických subjektů a posilování resilience kritických subjektů. První část popisuje vývoj bezpečnostního přístupu k ochraně infrastruktur v Evropské unii, charakterizuje kritické subjekty a jimi poskytované základní služby, specifikuje incidenty a jejich dopady na kritické subjekty a definuje systém resilience kritických subjektů. Druhá část zahrnuje analýzu přístupů vhodných k posuzování resilience kritických subjektů, analýzu přístupů vhodných pro definování faktorů resilience kritických subjektů, klasifikaci a definování faktorů determinující resilienci kritických subjektů a faktory determinující rezistenci, robustnost, obnovitelnost a adaptabilitu kritických subjektů. Třetí část se zaměřuje na analýzu přístupů vhodných k posilování resilience kritických subjektů, definování prostředí pro posilování resilience kritických subjektů, klasifikaci a definování nástrojů pro posilování organizační a infrastrukturní resilience a zhodnocení výhod a nevýhod nástrojů pro posilování resilience kritických subjektů. Ve čtvrté části knihy je prezentován postup posuzování a posilování resilience kritických subjektů vůči incidentům.

The first part describes the security approach development to the infrastructures protection in the European Union, characterizing critical entities and the essential services they provide, specifying incidents and their impacts on critical entities and defining the critical entities resilience system. The second part includes an analysis of approaches suitable for assessing the critical entities resilience, an analysis of approaches suitable for defining the critical entities resilience factors, a classification and definition of factors determining the critical entities resilience and factors determining critical entities resistance, robustness, renewability and adaptability. The third part focuses on the analysis of approaches suitable for strengthening the critical entities resilience, defining the environment for strengthening the critical entities resilience, classifying and defining tools for strengthening organizational and infrastructural resilience and evaluating the advantages and disadvantages of tools for strengthening the critical entities resilience. The fourth part of the book presents the procedure for assessing and strengthening the critical entities resilience to incidents.
