To control optimally the breaking technology it is necessary to understand rules and interrelations between energy delivered and the resulting effect of the breaking of solid matter as well as the dependence of tool wear on the applied mode of breaking so that this process may be controlled even from the point of view of the minimum wear of the tool. The breaking process taking place in the real solid matter and in the specific technological system has its own special and variable conditions that differconsiderably from the idealised model.
