The article deals with a development of a drive module of a modular mobile chassis. The chassis was designed at the Department of Robotics as part of the student grant competition "Research and development of modular robotic systems." The article describes the development and the mechanical design of the drive module, which is the basic building block of the modular chassis. The article also describes the structural analysis of this module and obtained results. The achievements and possibilities of the future direction of development and utilization of the module are summarized in conclusion.
