Název v původním jazyce
A Model for Optimizing the Destination Portfolio of a Regional Airport with Transfer Times in Transit Destinations
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The bulk of regional international public airports (hereinafter 'regional airports') aim to develop their existing portfolio of new scheduled air flights. In the past, regional airports mainly served domestic air transport and linked the region with the main international airport (s) of the country. The current ambitions of regional airports tend to be higher, which is why regional airports are also trying to offer international direct flights to major continental international airports, where air transport can either be terminated or continued to all over the world (destination portfolio). The creation of a destination portfolio is a complicated issue and involves a number of steps. In the presented article, we will deal with one of the steps of the solution, namely the creation of a mathematical model, based on which it will be possible to effectively decide on a particular structure of the offer of air connections.
